“Riyaayat” means heritage, tradition, and the passing down of craft from one generation to the next. In India, artistry is not just skill — it’s inheritance. It’s the rhythm of a sitar, the motifs embroidered on a saree, the floral curves painted on ancient walls, and the stories our elders once told.
This collection honors the quiet beauty of those traditions.
Not by preserving them as they were, but by carrying them forward — stitched into the leather of modern life.

The Riyaayat Quilted Shoulder Bag
A reinterpretation of traditional Mughal-inspired florals, quilted into deep maroon leather panels. This design symbolizes softness, royalty, and the delicate artistry of the Indian miniature craft tradition.

The Riyaayat Floral Flap Bag
A modern silhouette paired with a traditional floral canopy inspired by ancient haveli wall motifs and Jaipuri block printing. The sweeping gold lines represent continuity and the path of tradition across generations.

The Riyaayat Crescent Tote
The curved tote shape echoes the crescent archways of Indian palaces. The central red-gold panel pays homage to Kanchipuram zari weaving, where stories are told through thread and gold.
